Born and raised in San Diego, California, Katie began dancing at the age of six. She trained pre-professionally at the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet under Danika Pramik-Holdaway and Inspire School of Ballet under Felica Alvarez and Bernadette Mirenxtu Torres, performing the roles of Alice and Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, and Clara in The Nutcracker. Post high school, Katie accepted a trainee position with Ballet Magnifcat!, training under Jiri Voborksy, Sol Masoinet and Cassandra Voborsky. Katie also completed a teaching mentorship with Torres Di Dio Ballet Program, where she taught and choreographed classical ballet and contemporary.

Katie’s acting background began at age 12 with Aim San Diego where she trained in mime and drama for eight years. Recently, Katie worked with kNOwMORE!©, a human trafficking awareness program, in both theatre and film. Furthermore, Katie has worked film gigs and standardized patient acting gigs. Additionally, she has received training in voice-acting, singing, and piano.
